Readers trust PrivacyTestLab because the results are not for sale. These rules protect that, which also makes a placement here worth more to you.
What we do
- Label every paid piece as Sponsored, at the top of the page.
- Mark paid links with
rel="sponsored", as Google asks. - Test products ourselves before writing about them.
- Agree the scope, price and dates in writing before you pay.
- Tell you what we found before a sponsored review goes live.
What we never do
- Sell scores, rankings or a "best" spot in any comparison.
- Hide that something is paid, or sell hidden do-follow links.
- Change test results or remove findings you do not like.
- Publish guest posts written to pass link value.
- Promote spyware, stalkerware, gambling or crypto investment schemes.

Common questions
Can we pay for a better score or a higher ranking?
No. Scores and rankings come from testing only. A sponsored review gets the same tests and the same honesty as any other review.
Do you sell do-follow links or guest posts?
No. Paid links are always marked rel="sponsored", and we write sponsored content ourselves.
What if our product does badly in your tests?
We tell you before anything is published. You can withdraw a sponsored review at that point, but we will not change the findings.
How do we pay?
In advance, by PayPal, UPI or bank transfer, after the details are agreed in writing. You get an invoice for every payment.
Do you work with brands outside privacy and security?
Only when the product is genuinely useful to people who care about privacy. If it is not a fit, we will say so.
