Everything here is free — the leak tests, the guides, the directory, and the verified badge businesses get for proving they own their domain. If it has been useful to you and you want to help keep it running, this is where you can.
Who you are actually paying
PrivacyTestLab is independently run and is not a registered company. There is no business entity behind it and no platform taking a cut — contributions go straight to Bipul Debnath, who builds and maintains it.
That is the name your UPI app and your PayPal receipt will show, rather than the site's. We would rather you knew that here than discovered it at the payment screen.
Where it goes
Running this site costs real money every month, and there is no ad network or investor covering it. Contributions go to maintenance and to making the site better: hosting, the domain, backups and email delivery; the paid geolocation and network data the leak tests depend on; VPN and privacy tool subscriptions bought at full price so reviews are based on real use; and building the next round of tools, guides and directory features.
We publish how the site earns and spends on the transparency page.
What it does not buy
This matters more than the money does. A site that tests privacy tools is worth nothing if its findings can be bought, so contributing changes none of the following:
It does not affect any rating, review, or a business's position in the directory.
It does not get a business a verified badge — that is free, and follows a domain check.
It does not buy coverage, a listing, or a mention in any guide.
There is no paid tier. A contributor and a first-time visitor see exactly the same site.

Any amount is genuinely fine, and skipping this page entirely is fine too.

Paying Bipul Debnath
Scan on a phone, or tap the button if you're already on one. Your app shows the name above before you confirm anything.
PayPal opens in a new tab and handles the payment. Nothing to do with your card ever reaches this site.
Why we ask you to confirm
We do not use a payment gateway. Neither UPI nor PayPal tells this site anything — the money simply arrives in an account. So after you send it, you paste the transaction number and we match it by hand, then confirm by email if you left one.
It is a slower way of doing things, and it is honest about what it is: nothing is counted until a person has seen it land. Our refund policy covers what happens if you send something by mistake.
